Columbia Java Sun Day, March 9

On Thursday, March 9, the Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Science and Sun Microsystems will host Columbia Java Sun Day, an event for student developers, faculty and researchers interested in learning about the latest technologies in mobile computing, open source projects, security, web services and more.

James Gosling, vice president and Sun Fellow, also known as the "Father of Java," will offer the keynote address at 4:20 p.m.
