The 19th annual Columbia University Film Festival culminated on Thursday night with a screening of the faculty-selected best films and the presentation of major awards to the filmmakers. Two sets of awards were given: one at the final screening of the festival and one at the celebration afterward. Presented by the School of the Arts (SoA) Film Division, the festival will continue in Los Angeles June 6-8. For complete festival information, visit the festival Web site at www.cufilmfest.com.

- The Onion Best Film Award: Good Girl
- IMAX Outstanding Achievement Award: Recalled, directed by Michael Connors
- New Line Cinema Outstanding Achievement in Filmmaking: Pop Foul, directed by Moon Molson
- New Line Cinema Best Director Award: Fellipe Gamarano Barbosa for Salt Kiss
- Arthur Krim Memorial Award: Jesse Whitnall
- National Board of Review of Motion Pictures Awards: Recalled, directed by Michael Connors, and Lumo, directed by Bent-Jorgen Perlmutt and Nelson Walker III
- Lifetime Television Network Student Development Award: Ann Husaini
- James Bridges Development Award: Matthew Linnell
- RHI Entertainment Producers Development Award: Jessica Daniels
- HBO Films Young Producers Development Award: Nelson Kim
- A&E IndieFilms Talent Development Award for Non-Fiction Filmmaking: J.J. Adler
- New Line Cinema Student Development Award: Julia Kots
