Blum to Head Village Voice

David Blum, an adjunct professor at the school of journalism, has been named editor-in-chief of the Village Voice. He is the television critic for the New York Sun, and has previously held positions at The New York Times, New York magazine, Esquire, and The Wall Street Journal. "I am delighted that David intends to continue teaching and advising master's projects," said Vice Dean David Klatell. "It is my hope that he and other Village Voice leaders who teach here, including investigative reporter Wayne Barrett, can forge a tight working relationship between the two institutions."
