Jazzmobile, the renowned New York City-based institution founded by music legend Billy Taylor, will bring four fabulous concerts to Morningside Park on Thursday evenings in July and August. Sponsored in part by Columbia, the series highlights established musicians as well as up-and-coming artists. On Aug. 28, master drummer Charli Persip and his band will take the stage.

Both concerts are free and open to the public. Held in front of the pond at 114th Street and Morningside Avenue, they begin at 7:00 p.m. For more information, contact Friends of Morningside Park at (212) 937-3883 or info@morningsidepark.org.
