Date: Thursday, October 26, 4:00 - 5:30 p.m.
Location:

Roone Arledge Cinema, Lerner Hall

RSVP:

Both events are free, but space is limited!
Please RSVP at 212-854-7724 or at arts@columbia.edu.

Please join us for a conversation with leading American avant-garde theatre director, Robert Wilson and free matinee screenings of Absolute Wilson, a new documentary about Wilson by SoA alumna Katharina Otto-Bernstein (Beautopia, 1998).

Robert Wilson's interdisciplinary approach to theater, which incorporates literary theory, linguistics, semiotics, anthropology, psychology, philosophy, architecture, dance and painting, revolutionized the art by emphasizing visual communication over spoken word. He is arguably one of the most influential theatre artists of our time. Join us for a rare opportunity to hear Robert Wilson discuss his approach to theatre, art and the stage.
