The Old Man and the Storm, a documentary film by June Cross, associate professor at the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism, will air Jan. 6, 2009 at 9 p.m. ET on PBS' "Frontline."
The film depicts the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina through the eyes of 82-year-old Herbert Gettridge and his relatives—an African-American family with deep roots in New Orleans—as they struggle to rebuild their homes and their lives in the devastated lower Ninth Ward.
