Richard Eichler's association with Columbia dates back to 1971, when he began as an undergraduate in Columbia College. Upon completion of his Ph.D. in clinical psychology at Columbia, he joined the Counseling Service, and in 1992 became its Director. He has special expertise and interest in learning and attentional problems; identity issues; and in the normative problems of development and daily living.
