The Columbia University Congressional Internship Program gives undergraduate students the opportunity to gain valuable work experience on Capitol Hill or in local district offices. Interns will perform such functions as:
- -- attending and reporting on Committee hearings
- -- drafting memos on legislation
- -- responding to constituent concerns
- -- assisting with case work
- -- general office duties
Internships are usually offered during two six week periods from early June to mid August.
