Immediate Threat of Human-to-Human Transmission of Avian Flu Small, Rosenfield Says

Allan Rosenfield, dean of the Mailman School of Public Health, says chances are very small that human-to-human transmission of avian flu is an immediate threat. Rosenfield says government preparation for an outbreak could include funding a global surveillance system and liability protection for vaccine manufacturers.
