INTERNATIONAL STUDENT ATHLETES

    Thirty-eight international students played on Columbia's intercollegiate teams last year. Among them were:
  • Peter Armstrong '02C, winner of the Stallman Award as most valuable first-year swimmer (Canada)
  • Leslie Fitzpatrick '01C, men's soccer team's leading scorer (Trinidad)
  • Filip B. Jagodzinski '99E, the Metropolitan track champion (Poland)
  • Steve S. Oh '99C, Academic All-Ivy, sank the putt that won Columbia the Ivy League Golf Championship (South Korea)
  • Salil Seshadri '00C, tennis star named Ivy League Player of the Year (India)
