European Union Should Be Enlarged to Include Poland, Says Polish Foreign Minister Cimoszewicz

One of the greatest political achievements of Poles is the nationwide consensus among Parliament, most of the political parties, politicians, non-governmental organizations, trade unions, the Catholic Church and the media, for a shared vision of Poland integrated with the Euro-Atlantic political and economic structures, NATO and the European Union, says Polish Foreign Minister Wlodzimierz Cimoszewicz. "The enlargement of the European Union will bring to completion the process of European integration," he says. Cimoszewicz's lecture is part of a conference co-sponsored by the Institute for the Study of Europe, East Central European Center.
