In the New Era of Social Security, New Rules Will Produce Different Kinds of Social Protection, Says Dalmer Hoskins
Social security organizations continue to promote systems that were based on the principles of universality, pay-as-you-go and redistribution, says Dalmer Hoskins, Secretary General of the International Social Security Agency. "We have entered a new era, where there are new rules of the game that will produce quite different kinds of social protection," based on a "multi-pillared approach" of public and private responsibility, he says in a lecture sponsored by the School of Social Work.
