"For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you." Luke 17:22

Jesus loves you. No he really does! I mean seriously LOVES you. Wait, before you brush me off as nothing new let me tell you that I don't quite think you understand what I'm telling you, he loves YOU! This is true love, love that holds you up even though you have left him. This is ever faithful, never changing love - infinite love. I know you don't understand me, in fact, even I don't understand me because neither you nor I can comprehend infinite, unchanging, unbound love. I don't even think we have a true concept of love. Love has become a word that is too often thrown around for it to have any real effect on us. But it is more!

Think about it for a bit, sit back write down on a piece of paper the words "Jesus and me" and think upon your life and where he was. You'll only begin to see how much he loves you. Love beyond words and beyond emotions. Yes, although we usually describe love as an emotion, his true love is even beyond emotion. Emotions are fickle and constantly change, love does not. Look back upon your life and you will see how he has always stood by you; at the times you were most in trouble and at the times you left his hand and decided to walk on your own - in your own way.

Jesus followed you.

He stood there quietly and followed you where you were going. All along he was pulling on your shirt trying to tell you he knows a better way, but if you insisted on walking that way he was going to follow, to make sure you don't get into too much trouble. Even though you told him you don't want him, he stayed back to help you anyway. Now that you think about it you see that he did help you when you asked, even though...even though...

Well, simply, says...

My Child, You do not understand - you cannot comprehend this mystery of Love I have for you. Indeed it is a mystery to you, and yet in love you can gain my wisdom and understanding to the mysteries of the world. Let yourself love me, it is very simple, and yet so very hard, I know. Let yourself love me as I love you. I made you, I willed you into existence because I wanted you. I begot you out of my free will and I will not turn you away. I want nothing from you in return for I take pleasure simply in your company. I take pleasure in having simple conversation with you, in serving you, in making you happy. You are mine and when you are happy in me I am happy.

You cannot comprehend or fathom the concept of always but yet you always speak of it. You take for granted that your house will always be there, that you can always return there after a long day of work. Remember I made that house for you. Why can you not trust that I am always there also? I do not live in heaven as they tell you and yet I do. I created my heaven inside of you and there is where I make my place of rest. I find comfort in your heart so do not throw me out. And when you do lock me out at times I long for any opportunity to enter again for in you I find my rest. Any small glimpse, any cracking open of the door I come right back. I will not reprimand you for then you may not allow me in again. You are forgiven. I forgive you. I just want to be with you.

Oh how my heart longs for you. Why do you not understand that I want to be with you, I will not make it hard for you to find me for I am right outside the door. And yet you keep me out because you do not believe that I like it inside your heart. You do not trust that it gives me such great joy to serve you and watch you grow. Even if your heart is messy, I will clean it up. Remember I do not tire as you do, so when you become weary I can carry you. Don't worry about me, it doesn't tire me to serve you. It doesn't cost me anything to build you a home. In fact I will build you a refuge a strong mighty tower, just for you. I will make you a game room where you and me and all our friends can enjoy ourselves and relax. Maybe you are grown up now and think you must take care of yourself now. Maybe you even have a family to take care of. Wow, how you've grown my child. Remember I am still older than you, and no matter how old you think you are, I can still take care of you. My Child I love you with a love beyond words and beyond emotions, and I want you to share in this utter delight.

I Love You, Let me Love You.

"For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height - to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God."
Ephesians 3:14,17-19
