The 2009 NSOP Committee
In addition to the committee members below, who are planning and preparing for NSOP all summer, we've recruited almost 300 upperclass students full of Barnard and Columbia Pride to be Crew Chiefs (CCs) and Orientation Leaders (OLs). They'll be here to help all of our New Students move in and get acclimated during Orientation week. The NSOP Staff includes a lot of people who are involved in other campus organizations -- you can find a list at the right.
The New Student Organization Program also depends on the staff of the Barnard College Activities Office and the CC/SEAS Office of Student Development and Activities. The NSOP Directors and Advisers, Cynthia Jennings, Mitchell Chavez, Joyce Lewandowski, Hayden Greene, and Leo Pedraza, are indispensable to the Committee as they plan for Orientation week. They offer great advice, share lessons of past experiences with NSOP, and provide a vital link between the Committee and upper administration on both sides of Broadway.
