Objectives
- Create
a leverageable enterprise technology and operations platform upon
which future administrative solutions will be developed and deployed.
- Successfully
implement PeopleSoft HRMS (Human Resources, Base Benefits, Payroll)
in a live operational environment for the Phase I Scope within Columbia
University by October, 2004.
- Accurately
convert key data from the University’s current Human Resources,
Benefits and Payroll (PIS, BIS, GEAC) source systems into one common
PeopleSoft HRMS enterprise application.
- Ensure
the HRMS user community and the University user population in general
is prepared to use and support the PeopleSoft system.
- Build
the University’s capability to manage, host, process and maintain
the PeopleSoft HRMS system and other similar enterprise applications.
- Improve
the integrity and effectiveness of Human Resource, Base Benefits,
and Payroll information, processes and reporting.
