Biography:
My main research and teaching interests are in ethics, moral psychology, aesthetics, and feminist philosophy. Within ethics and moral psychology, I am especially interested in articulating an account of the appropriate attitudinal responses to serious immorality and injustice. As part of this project, I have recently completed several papers on forgiveness and the virtues and vices of anger. I am currently working on a book that explores the dangers and moral importance of contempt for persons. For more information on my papers, talks, and courses, please see my website.
