You will most likely arrive on Sunday. We will have someone available in the Physics Office to welcome you and to give you a packet of information for the Open House from 12:00 Noon to 4:00 PM.
CHECK INTO YOUR HOTEL: You probably want to check in first, and then come to the Department and pick up your information packet. However, if you arrive early, your room might not be ready - in that case you could come by the Physics Department and drop your bags for a while.

Also, please call us if you will not be able to make it on that day and we were expecting you. The office location for the Physics Department is: 704 Pupin Hall.
PICK UP YOUR PACKETS: They will be in the Physics Building. It is called Pupin Hall and is located on the northwest corner of campus at Broadway and 120th Street. HOWEVER, the building is not accessible from street level on either the Broadway or the 120th Street side. To access Pupin Hall, you must enter through the main campus entrance at Broadway and 116th Street. The Physics office is on the 7th Floor - room 704. Note that you will enter the building on the 5th floor when you enter from the Campus level.
AFTER YOU PICK UP YOUR PACKET: You are free to explore Columbia and NYC on your own. Have fun! But be back at 705 Pupin Hall at 4:00 PM for a reception. We will go off to dinner from there at 5:30 PM.
