Theoretical Astrophysics, Experimental High Energy Nuclear Physics

The Columbia University Department of Physics is seeking to appoint an assistant professor in theoretical astrophysics, or experimental high energy nuclear physics. It is expected that the candidate will develop a vigorous research program, taking a leadership role in a premier program in one of these fields, continuing a long Columbia record of forefront accomplishments in physics. The successful candidate will possess a PhD. Applicants for this position must have demonstrated the potential to do pioneering research. Candidates should also demonstrate the promise for excellence in teaching and mentoring at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
