ABOUT RUSH
Joining a fraternity is one of the most rewarding experiences a collegian can undertake during his time at school. The friends you make are life-long, the connections you establish are priceless, and the experiences you have will be some of the greatest in your life.
Rush is the lifeblood of our fraternity - without it, we wouldn't exist. That's why we take great pride in our rush process and are very selective with who we invite to join our fraternity. We don't just recruit members, we recruit Pikes. Our brothers are Scholars, Leaders, Athletes, and Gentlemen. Pi Kappa Alpha is far and away the most well-rounded fraternity on campus. If you've taken the time to look around our website, or if you've been over to the house, you've probably already noticed this.
If you're new to Columbia and have little experience with fraternities or Greek life, then stop by our house at 536 W. 114th St. You're always welcome to come take a look and find out what Pike is all about. Michael Kosdan is our current Rush Chair. Feel free to give him an email (
mjk2126@columbia.edu) if you've got any questions.
And remember: Rush is open to everyone and it requires no future commitment on your part. Use the rush events to get to know not only the Pikes, but members of other fraternities on campus, as well. Each house at Columbia has its own style - familiarize yourself with each fraternity's personality and membership. Talk to their brothers about what their fraternity has done for them. If you're really a Pike, the choice will be obvious.

Brothers are if you want a first-hand look at what Pike is all about.
