Summer Salary Drive
The PILF Summer Salary Drive raises money from Columbia Law Students and law firms for the Student Funded Fellowship program. Columbia Law Students pledge one day's salary or another amount to the fund, and with their permission, PILF asks their employers to match their summer associates' contributions.
Students working for law firms typically pledge from $150 to $500, while students working for public interest or government organizations usually pledge from $10 to $50. All of the money raised through the Summer Salary Drive goes directly to Columbia Law students through the Public Service Fellowship Program, which is coordinated by the Social Justice Initiative (SJI).
