Kay Shimizu (Ph.D., Stanford, 2008) works in the areas of political economy of development (developing and industrialized countries), Japanese and Chinese politics, corporate governance and financial reform, central-local relations, and elections.

Professor Shimizu is on leave for the 2011-12 academic year.
