The Lindsay Rogers Common Room is available to all Political Science students and faculty for quiet socializing and study from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The room is equipped for both wireless and wired internet connectivity and includes a projection screen. Furnishings accommodate classroom or seminar-style seating (with tables) for up to thirty people and lounge seating for eight people.

Members and affiliates of the University community may reserve the room for meetings for a fee of $100 plus any additional cleaning costs that are incurred.

Reservation Rules
Political Science student groups and faculty may reserve the room at any time for no charge, Monday through Friday. Outside groups may only request reservation of the room for events beginning after 5 PM

Weekend reservations are rare and require permission by the chair.

To reserve the room:

• Please contact Mildred Behm either by phone (212 854 4518) or by email (mmb2156@columbia.edu).
• If you are requesting use of the room for a group not affiliated with the Department, please provide Ms. Behm a university account number to which any custodial services required after the event may be charged. 
  
• NO RESERVATION WILL BE ACCEPTED WITHOUT SUBMISSION OF AN ACCOUNT NUMBER!!!
  
• Groups are responsible for their own event and furniture set-up.  If help is needed, requests may be made with Facilities Management (212 854 8607).
• If your event begins after office hours please see Ms. Behm before 5 PM on the day of your event to obtain a key to the room. The door will be locked at 5 PM-- obtaining a key is your responsibility. A $20.00 key deposit is required, which is refundable upon return of the room key. This deposit will be forfeit if the key is not returned within one week of the event.
