Registration for Political
Science seminars is different from that for most other
political science courses in that pre-registration is not permitted and the
instructor's approval is required.
You will not be able to register for seminars until the first week of
classes of each semester. To register for most*, you must attend the first
class meeting. Your professor will most likely let you know whether or
not you will be in his or her class within the first two weeks. (Priority is given to seniors who need the seminar
to graduate). You should bring to class with you an Add/Drop
form, and if you are accepted into the class, your professor must sign your Add/Drop
form, which you should then bring to the Registrar in Kent Hall, so that you may be officially registered for the class. Make sure to bring the signed Add/Drop form
to the registrar before the change of program period ends. If you
do not do so before this date, you
will not be able to register for the seminar.
