Friday, January 14

FIONA DOUGHERTY -- This talented fiddler sometimes accompanies Pat
Kilbride.  She's played at Ryan's in the East Village.  Welcome her for
her Postcrypt debut!

PAT KILBRIDE -- This internationally celebrated Irish musician will
dazzle you with his expressive singing and scintillating cittern,
bouzouki, and guitar playing.  He is also a member of the hot Irish
fusion band, the Kips Bay Ceili Band.

Saturday, January 15

HUGH POOL -- This Postcrypt favorite is guaranteed to entertain with
original foot-stompin' blues tunes.

DANNY KALB -- Danny is best known as the founding member of The Blues
Project, which became one of the best loved bands of the mid-60's.  He
has influenced untold numbers of aspiring young blues guitar players and
has shared the stage with Muddy Waters, John Lee Hooker, and Dave van
Ronk.

Friday, January 21

LAURA KEMP -- This singer from Oregon has been called "Eugene's
brightest new folk voice." She was on a recent special Oregon Fast Folk
record and has a recording of her own.

ILENE WEISS -- Ilene's played at the Greenwich Village Folk Festival and
even sung backup on Richard Shindell's album, "Are You Happy Now?"
Welcome her back to the Postcrypt!

DAVE KEENER -- Dave's quirky, witty lyrics will have you rolling in the
aisles. It's his first performance at Postcrypt, so be there.

THE SIRENS -- This acoustic folk-rock duo met as exchange students in
Paris.  TheyUve been together for 5 years and played in four countries,
performing their songs about life and its many pleasures and challenges.

SARAH GREENE -- This amazing singer-songwriter's stamp of distinction is
her sense of the macabre.  Sarah's songs tell great stories.

THE METROPOLECATS -- Quite possibly the best jug band in Manhattan -
you'll stomp your feet, slap your thighs, and want to kiss your cousins
when you hear them!

OPEN STAGE -- Folk, blues, bluegrass, jazz, reggae - you name it!  We
also welcome poets, storytellers, actors, comics, and performers of all
kinds.  Performances start at 9:00, sign-up is at 8:45.  Eight to ten
minute limit.

JANE BYAELA -- This excellent singer-songwriter's music is influenced by
many sources -- from classical to blues, folk, and jazz.

HUGH BLUMENFELD -- Hugh says of the Postcrypt, "I love this place!  When
I play in the city these days (which I don't), this is where I want to
be doing it (which I do)."
