Fred Friendly Seminars Premiers Show On Politics, Press And The Public On PBS Friday Night

"DISCONNECTED: Politics, the Press and the Public," premiering on PBS on June 2, 2000 at 9:00 P.M. (local broadcast times may vary - check your local public television schedule), peels back the headlines to look at the process driving campaign coverage and the struggle facing politicians and the news media to find new standards.

The program is a production of Fred Friendly Seminars at the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism in association with Thirteen/WNET New York and The Century Foundation. It features Dan Rather, Jeff Greenfield, Gwen Ifill, Ramon Escobar, Geneva Overholser, Jake Tapper, Mayor Bill Campbell, Congressman Barney Frank, Congressman Bob Barr, Ed Rollins, Fred Yang, Chuck D, Randy Tate, Joan Blades, Larry J. Sabato and moderator Arthur Miller.
