Students can learn about undergraduate intersession and summer internships sponsored by the Office of Public Affairs at a meeting Thurs.,Oct. 26, at 6 p.m. in Hartley Lounge. Internships are available in both local and Washington Congressional Offices.

Last year students worked for Senators Dianne Feinstein (D-CA), John Kerry (D-MA), Frank Lautenberg (D-NJ) and Frank Murkowski (R-AK) as well as for Congressmen Jim Davis (D-FL), Joe Knollenberg (R-MI) and Eliot Engel (D-NY) Students also met with Columbia alumni and senior government officials.

Vice President Alan J. Stone and Associate Vice President Ellen S. Smith will speak at the meeting. Light refreshments will be served.
