2011 - 2012 Highlights:

Professor Walter Mischel
was recently awarded the Ludwig Wittgenstein Preis 2012 der Österreichischen Forschungsgemeinschaft [Austrian Research Foundation's Ludwig Wittgenstein Prize for 2012] in recognition of his outstanding achievements in the field of personality psychology.

Professor Daphna Shohamy will receive one of this year's Distinguished Columbia Faculty Awards. The Faculty of Arts and Sciences gives this annual honor to faculty members show exceptional merit in scholarship and dedication to teaching. The awards, established by University Trustee Gerry Lenfest (Law '58), are accompanied by a three year stipend.
