Recall that your assigned task was:

Grading criteria

The maximum score on the paper was 150 points. On your paper, you'll see points assigned to 5 categories:

S: structure, maximum of 40 points. You lost points if you didn't include a thesis statement, or did not organize your paper (e.g., using the suggested structure on the guidelines page).

L: logic, maximum of 40 points. You lost points if you didn't make a series of points in support of your thesis statement, or drew conclusions which did not follow from the data and arguments you presented.

I: integration of primary sources, maximum of 30 points. You lost points if you didn't properly cite your sources, cited too few sources, or used inappropriate sources (non-primary).

E: proposal for future experiments on your topic, maximum of 20 points. You lost points if you didn't make any such proposal, if you did not provide specifics, or if the proposal did not fit with your thesis.

M: mechanics, maximum of 20 points. You lost points if your paper had spelling or grammatical errors.
