NOTES:

Some of the above assignments will change to accomodate unanticipated changes in course enrollments.

  • ?'s denote assignments that are questionable due to enrollment uncertainty
  • * denotes a first year graduate student
  • denotes an extra compensation TAship for a grad student
  • "ugrad," or red color, denotes an undergraduate or postbac TAship

IMPORTANT: Graduate students are expected to be available during the full duration of the semester to which they are assigned, either Sept. 6- Dec. 22, 2005 or Jan 17 - May 12, 2006. Please be sure that vacation or travel plans do not overlap with these dates, or with final exam grading.

In addition, all TAs and TFs are expected to attend the TA Orientation meeting during the first week of the semester, and to arrange for electronic classroom training prior to the first class meeting. The Fall TA Orientation took place on. Friday, Sept. 9 from 12 - 1 PM in 200C Schermerhorn Hall. Spring Orientation is scheduled for Friday Jan. 20 from 11 - 12 in 200C.

Other responsibilities and privileges of TAs are outlined on the TA Orientation web page and are described more fully in the Graduate Student Teaching Guidelines.
