assigned, either Sept. 4 - Dec. 21, 2012 or Jan. 22 -
May 17, 2013, as well as through the awarding and submission of final grades. Please be sure that vacation or travel
plans do not overlap with these dates, or with final
exam and course grading periods.
In addition, all TAs and
TFs are expected to attend the TA Orientation meeting during the first week
of the semester, and to arrange for electronic classroom
training prior to their first class meeting. The Spring 2013 TA Orientation is tentatively scheduled for Friday, January 25, 2013 from 1:10 - 2:00 PM in 200C Schermerhorn Hall. If you have a conflict at that time, please notify Lois.
Responsibilities and privileges of TAs are outlined
on the TA Orientation web page. Please familiarize yourself with these well before the start of your TAship, and learn how to operate the electronic classroom before your first class meeting. Graduate Teaching Fellows
should also read the Graduate
Student Teaching Guidelines.
