Dr. Michael Sweeney
Cognitive Behavior Therapy: Research and Practice

Dr Sweeney is a clinical psychologist and chief research fellow in the
division of child and adolescent psychiatry @ college of physicians and
surgeons, Columbia university. He is expert in cognitive behavior
therapy and clinical trials.

Drs. Nancy Crown and Sam Weisman
Practicing psychotherapy with Children, Adolescents and their Parents.

Dr. Nancy Crown is a psychologist in private practice in New York City. She
works with adults in individual psychoanalytic psychotherapy and
psychoanalysis. Dr. Crown is a senior candidate at the Post-doctoral
Program in Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy at New York University. She has
a doctorate in clinical psychology from the Derner Institute, Adelphi
University, and a master’s degree in school counseling and deafness from
Gallaudet University. Dr. Crown has experience working with children,
adolescents and adults with neurodevelopmental disabilities, with deaf
individuals and with the families and parents of these individuals.

Dr. Sam Weisman is a psychologist in private practice in New York City. He
has a doctorate in clinical psychology from the Derner Institute, Adelphi
University, and also recently graduated from the post-graduate training
program in child and adolescent psychotherapy at the William Alanson White
Institute. Along with his clinical practice, Dr. Weisman is a therapy
supervisor for the doctoral psychology programs at the Derner
Institute/Adelphi University and the Ferkauf Graduate School/Yeshiva
University . This semester he is also teaching a course at the National
Institute for the Psychotherapies on “Working with Parents in the Context of
Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy.”
