Tuition & Financing
Printed Version

In order to secure a place in the Postbac Certificate Program in Psychology, admitted students must pay a nonrefundable deposit of $500, applicable towards tuition, no later than four weeks prior to the start of their first semester.

For the Fall 2010/Spring 2011 terms, information on the tuition and fee structure is provided on the School of Continuing Education website. The Postbac program in Psychology is generally considered full-time and therefore those fees apply (university facility, health service, and optionally, health insurance fees).

The School of Continuing Education can arrange the financing of your educational expenses through a private loan or payment plan to help cover educational expenses. Details on this arrangement can also be found at their website.

Postbac students are eligible for various private and federal loans. Paid research positions and internship positions can provide income while helping you learn. These types of paid positions might pay slightly less than some non-psychology jobs, but can significantly enhance your graduate school application in many ways and usually offer the type of flexible schedules necessary for managing with coursework. Some reseaech positions are listed on the Job Listings page on the Psychology Department website.
