Current Research
My current research examines the role of interpersonally-cued cognitive-affective processes in symptoms of borderline personality disorder, avoidant personality disorder/social phobia, and depression. The study, which was developed in collaboration with Geraldine Downey and Eshkol Rafaeli, uses a combination of interviews, questionnaires, experiments, and electronic diaries to obtain fine-grained information about the daily life experiences of people who suffer from one or more of these disorders.
