General Area of Research
Social cognition, rejection sensitivity, emotion regulation
Current Research
Generally speaking, I am interested in how humans observe and process social information. Currently, I am focusing on the experience of social rejection and individual differences in rejection sensitivity. In addition to understanding how people interpret rejection, I also look at how people regulate (or do not regulate) their emotions in the face of social rejection. In my research, I use behavioral paradigms, psychophysiological measures and fMRI.
