The IRDL research lab obtains its strength from the people involved in it. We have several projects that address questions relevant to social, cultural, and political aspects of psychology. If the topics in our lab interest you, you may consider joining our lab. There are many ways to get involved!
Credit: it is possible to work as an RA for credit in the lab (either supervised individual research or honors research). Usually, this translates into three credits of credit for 10-12 hours/week. Volunteer: You can volunteer in the lab. Volunteers usually work 5-8 hours and, if successful, are given priority for workstudy positions in the next semester. Pay: For certain projects that require advanced skills, we will consider employing RAs as casual employees. Summer Internship: if you wish to work in the lab during the summer, we ask that you secure funding via an undergraduate research fellowship or do so on a volunteer basis.
Interested? Complete an application and email it to the lab at rge2112@columbia.edu or rim2109@columbia.edu.
