The Campus Watch program assists the Department of Public Safety in making our campuses  SAFER.  Columbia affiliates are asked to donate their used cellular phones to the Campus Watch program.  

 

The donated phones will be programmed for 911 and Columbia Public Safety, and will be issued to Campus Watchers for reporting suspicious activity or hazardous conditions in the Columbia community.  

 

Public Safety Operations has received calls from Campus Watchers regarding activity on campus.  As a result, Security personnel apprehended persons attempting to steal property.  Campus Watchers receive training and anonymous ID numbers.
