SECURITY ----ALERT

                     ROBBERY

On September 2, 2007, at about 3:40 A.M., on W. 115 St. between Broadway and Riverside Drive, two female Columbia College students were approached by a male, brandishing a knife, who grabbed one of the females by the shoulder, and knocked the other female to the ground.  The two females surrendered their bags containing personal property to the male, who then fled West on 115 St. eventually entering Riverside Park.

 

The male is described as Hispanic, 20-23 years, 5’8”-5’9”, 165 lbs., light complexion, long brown hair with braids, wearing a black or blue “t” shirt, denim shorts, with a black bandana over his face.

 

All members of the community are urged to take precautions when traveling at night, and report any suspicious activity to the Police at 911.
