When and Where

Monthly Socials

Queergrads tries to hold one social each month. Socials are always held on the last Thursday of every month that school is in session, at a nearby bar, restaurant, cafe, or lounge. To receive notification of when and where these socials will take place, send a request to [email protected].


In 1997, Queergrads held two parties in addition to its monthly socials. They were a great success. Hopefully, 1998 will provide equally enjoyable events. For your information, here are copies of the anouncements sent for last year's parties:

Cupid is Queer

Cupid and the Queergrads want you to have a chance to celebrate Valentines Day in a gay/lesbian-friendly setting. In case you're not in love right now, Cupid is offering this as a chance to meet a potential love one day before Valenites Day. It's an excuse to have a party, too. All are welcome, single or not. So, please come!

Come Out with Ellen

Don't miss the television event of the season! In just two days on Wednesday 30 April, we will celebrate Ellen Degeneres' coming out on national prime time television.

The "Come Out with Ellen Party" is for everyone.

Frank Susa is hosting the party in his apartment: 1230 Amsterdam Avenue, no.1000 (betw. 120th and 121st). The fun begins at 8 p.m.
