CASE Honors College for Recruitment Materials

CASE, the Council for Advancement and Support of Education, has awarded six medalstwo of them goldto recruitment materials produced for Columbia College by Creative Communication of America Inc.
The Viewbook alone captured three medals, including the gold medal for visual design in print, recognizing an individual publication for overall excellence in design.
Another five awards were bestowed on the Columbia publications by the Admissions Marketing Report magazine.
"The recruitment materials designed for us by Creative Communications of America are not only visually striking," said Chris Colombo, dean of undergraduate admissions and financial aid for Columbia College and the Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Science, "but effectively convey the unlimited opportunities for undergraduate students studying here at Columbia."
In addition to the gold medal for visual design in print, the Viewbook was recognized with a silver medal for an individual student recruitment publication and a bronze medal for visual design of a multi-page publication. The entire recruitment package was recognized with a silver medal, based on the content, writing, editing, design and photography of the pieces, as well as how effectively they communicate the institution's message.
Columbia's recruitment publications won five medals in the Admissions Advertising Awards Competition, sponsored by the magazine Admissions Marketing Report. The Viewbook was named Best of Show and recognized with a gold medal. The complete program took a silver medal, and bronze medals were bestowed on a preview piece and a brochure for the Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Science.
