A Shield for GS

 chool of General Studies Dean Peter Awn, left, and Brian Woods, far right, GS alumni relations director, hold a replica of the school's shield in front of its sculptor and the President of the Alumni Association, Philip Ehrlich, GS '88. The shield, which is now affixed to the reception desk in the dean's Lewisohn Hall office, is the result of an initiative by President of the GS Advisory Council, Malcolm Borg, GS '65, and former dean Gillian Lindt.
