Satellite Technology Is Now Available
AIS/Communications Services has announced that satellite technology is now available as a service to Columbia departments on the Morningside campus. Video and audio satellite transmissions of major broadcast events, such as presidential conferences, seminars and foreign broadcast programming, are now available. Via a satellite dish on the roof of the International Affairs Building, a downlink event can be broadcast through the campus cable television system. For more information, call 854-8843.
