Dean’s Award to the Golds

rnold and Sandra Gold, founders of the Arnold P. Gold Foundation of Englewood, N.J., received the prestigious Dean’s Award recently from Herbert Pardes, dean of Columbia’s College of Physicians and Surgeons and vice president for health sciences. They were honored for their important contributions to medicine. Among their benefactions to Columbia: commencement awards; assistant/associate professorship grants; student summer research fellowships; home visit program for pediatric and internal medicine residents, and student-initiated programs.
