 olumbia’s first Torah scroll was dedicated in a joyous ceremony in Low Rotunda Sunday. Top, from left: Rabbi Charles Sheer, Columbia’s Jewish chaplain; Rabbi Bina, partially obscured; Rabbi Benjamin Spiro, the sofer who completed the Torah Scroll during the ceremony; Professor Robert Pollack, president of the Jewish Campus Life Fund (JCLF), and Earle W.
