 memorial service for Samuel Eilenberg, the renowned Columbia mathematician and legendary collector of South Asian art who died Jan. 30, will be held in St. Paul’s Chapel at 4:00 P.M. on Tues., Mar. 31.

  Among the speakers will be his closest collaborator, Saunders MacLane, professor emeritus of mathematics at the University of Chicago.

  A reception in Faculty House will follow.
