Trust Fund Is Created for Malinowski Children

  Friends and colleagues of Daniel Malinowski, associate director for budget and financial operations in Administrative Information Systems, have created a trust fund to help with education and day care expenses for the Malinowski family. Dan’s wife, Jennifer, died tragically of a sudden illness at the end of February, leaving four children, ages 7 and younger.

Blood Drive Begins Apr. 3

  Faculty, staff, and students will be asked to donate blood during Columbia’s University-Wide Spring Blood Drive, which will run from Fri., Apr. 3 through Thurs., Apr. 9. Check next week’s RECORD for donation locations across campus or call 870-3443 for more information.

Maurice Russell Memorial Service Is Announced

  A memorial service for Maurice V. Russell, Trustee Emeritus who died Feb. 8 at the age of 74, will be held in St. Paul’s Chapel on Thurs., Apr. 2, at 4:00 P.M. A reception will follow in the President’s Room of Faculty House. All are welcome.
