Inspired by the recent Million Man March on Washington, M.F.A. candidate in directing Kathy Ciric will present a modern view of Shakespeare's Julius Caesar on Fri., Mar. 8, at 8:00 P.M., and Sat., Mar. 9, at 2:00 P.M. and 8:00 P.M., in the Horace Mann Theatre at Teachers College.
The production, presented by the School of the Arts' Oscar Hammerstein II Center for Theatre Studies, will include a Farrakhan-style Caesar, played by Emmy Award-winning Andre DeSheilds, creator of the title role of The Wiz.
