Rev. Calvin Butts, senior pastor of Abyssinian Baptist Church, delivered the third in a series of Nathan Lectures Mar. 25 in John Jay Lounge. He spoke about the ultimate value of a higher education. The lectures, designed to enhance the house system by bringing distinguished visitors to Columbia residence halls, are funded by Belle and Murray Nathan, CC '34.
