We are currently accepting submissions for the Spring 2008 issue. The deadline to submit will be posted shortly before March.

We accept literary criticism (including film criticism), poetry, short stories, drama, all types of creative non-fiction, and art submissions.

We will consider a maximum of 6 poems and 15 pages of prose per author during each publishing period. Keep in mind that, particularly in the case of prose, we are more likely to publish shorter work.

We do not accept simultaneous submissions. By submitting your work, you affirm that you have the sole rights to your work and you give the Review the right to publish said work in The Columbia Review magazine. The Review forfeits that right if it does not publish your work by its next publication deadline. If the Review does publish your work, we are, in general, happy to share rights if you would like to have that work republished.

As a small college publication, we are regrettably unable to respond to every submission that we receive.
