Card Decorating (Hospital Visit)

On December 8, 2006 numerous students from Columbia University helped decorate 100+ Holiday Cards for elderly patients at the Saint Luke's Hospital. Delivering of these cards, which took place on December 16, 2006, was extremely inspiring. Despite their ailing conditions and the fact that many of them would be in the hospital for the holidays, the patients literally welcomed us with open arms. It was a joy to know that our simple hand-made cards brought a smile to the face of these aching individuals and reminded them that they were in our thoughts during the holiday season.
