On February 27 from 9-11 PM, Columbia Rotaract Club is hosting "Columbia Unplugged," a live, acoustic showcase of many talented Columbia students. Held in Lerner C555, the event will be a fundraiser for the humanitarian efforts Rotaract plans to send to Lima, Peru for its annual international spring break trip. The money will go towards the implementation of a schoolhouse for impoverished children living in the outskirts of the city.
At "Columbia Unplugged," students should plan to see not only music from their gifted peers, but photography taken from various community service events as it pertains to this semester's "Columbia Unplugged" theme, "The Art of Service". Be sure to come out to not only support your fellow musicians and artists, but to help make a difference in the lives of children living in Peru! You will not want to miss this event!
